Mind your Business! Hmmm...really sis? Mind my business?
This is a phrase we hear oh so often to "mind our business", but do we really mind our business, are we actually business minded, are we really setting our mind to work our business correctly or is it just about getting that money no matter what it takes? To run a business, you must first begin with the right mindset.
Are we supporting each other to help each other grow in business? Some would say yes, some no, some would say....nah...I'm just minding my business, because that's your business, your niche, your dream (or fantasy) not mines! What am I saying? For those of us who are entrepreneurs, most of us did not study business nor the fundamentals of managing our own business, running our homes, working full time jobs and having time for self care (a must!). However, some of us have the education and the right resources to help build each other and grow our businesses as a community.
I personally studied technology the first 3 years of High School and then fell in love with Business and switch my mindset to become a business manager/owner. Today, I have degrees in Business Administration, Business Management and Finance and most recent a Masters in Public Administration. With all those degrees, I still don't have all the answers because some things obviously aren't taught in textbooks. However, what I do know very well is how to remain content in every situation, how to have character, how to be a servant leader , how to never give up regardless of who supports, how to manifest things that seem impossible, how to trust God with every idea and plan and how not to let self get in the way.
I have been a business owner since 2007. I started my own dance camp for children and adults. (Dance With the Father Dance Camp LLC formed in NYS). Today I also have a jewelry line and I help manage a few other businesses with some really great, might I add dope people. I helped form LLCs and other legal needs for other people. Why? Because my passion is to see us win. If I see your business lacks something, I'll reach out to give advise, or see where I can lend a helping hand. Majority of the time I don't get paid for what I do, but I know one day I will because I believe my reward is sure!

Delegate your way to growth (Trust yourself and your employees which increases productivity continuous engagement)

Let's not be to prideful to ask for help when it comes to running our businesses, just as it takes a village to raise a child, I believe it takes a village to grow a business. We shouldn't envy each other's success, rather let us lift each other up and MIND OUR BUSINESSES (together)!
Mind: The mind is the set of faculties including cognitive aspects sch as consciousness, imagination, perception, thinking, intelligence, judgement, language and memory, as well as non-cognitive aspects such as emotion and instinct.
